Cosmetic Injectables

Quintessence Plastic Surgery is proud to serve Austin, West Lake Hills, Davenport, Rob Roy, Steiner Ranch, Northwest Hills, and surrounding areas.

Injectables can be a way to dip your toe into the plastic surgery pool. Injectables may be used to correct problem areas or maintain fullness that is lost over time. These are minimally invasive procedures that can be done quickly in the office with minimal downtime. All injectables are delivered by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Aisha White.

Ideal Candidates for Injectables

Injectables are appropriate for patients looking to treat signs of aging. Candidates must have realistic expectations for their wrinkle-reduction and volume-restoration results. Injectables are excellent options for patients who do not want to undergo invasive facial cosmetic treatments. Healthy men and women are all good candidates for injectables.

Your Consultation

We will listen to your concerns regarding skin aging and explain the available cosmetic options. You must disclose all previous treatments for skin aging. We will look over your medical history and closely examine the condition of your skin, especially the areas you want to be treated.

We will recommend the best treatment plan based on your medical records, the state of your skin, and your goals. Additionally, we will provide you with instructions to prepare for your injectable treatment session.

The Procedure

The duration of the treatment session will depend on the treatment plan, targeted areas, and the products chosen. The target areas will be cleansed before topical anesthesia is administered. Certain dermal fillers already contain local anesthesia, avoiding the need for topical anesthesia.

The chosen injectable product will be injected into the targeted areas using tiny needle injections. Once the treatment plan is accomplished, the target area will be cleaned.

After Your Injectable Session

There is no recovery time needed for injectables, and the patient can go home after the treatment session. Normal activities can be performed, but the patient will still need to avoid activities that could potentially impact their treated areas. Temporary swelling, bruising, or redness may be experienced for the first few days.

Full results can be seen within a few weeks after the treatment. Depending on the chosen injectables, the effects can last for several months or even years.

How Much Do Injectables Cost?

The cost of the injectable treatment session will depend on the injectable product chosen and the amount used during the treatment. The overall price of the treatment can vary based on the treatment plan and the areas targeted.
