About Dr. Aisha White - Plastic Surgeon
Dr. White is a board certiﬁed plastic surgeon who applies her artistry and clinical expertise to provide comprehensive care to her patients.
She attended the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University while concurrently completed an MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. White completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, New York. She went onto complete her residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. White has published in scientific journals related to reconstructive plastic surgery. Her special interests include breast reconstruction, breast reduction, mommy makeovers, tummy tuck, skin cancer reconstruction and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. White was drawn to a career in plastic surgery because she saw how it could not only transform people’s bodies, but also their self-esteem. She says,
Dr. White is originally from New Orleans. She is married to a Texas man and loves living in Austin. Like many Austinites, she was not born here “but got here as soon as she could!” Dr. White is an active part of the Austin community and participates in multiple local non-profit organizations. She is a member of the Junior League of Austin. She also serves on AIDS Services of Austin Board of Directions as well as the Leadership Austin Board of Directors. She says of her volunteer work “It keeps me grounded. It also keeps me grateful.”
