Candidates for fat grafting desire an enhancement of volume or contour in areas such as the breasts, face, hands, buttocks, or other body regions. Patients should be in good overall health and possess sufficient fat reserves in donor areas to harvest the fat needed for transfer. Fat Grafting Procedure

Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer, involves three main steps:

• Harvesting – First, Dr. White removes excess fat from a donor site on the patient’s body using liposuction. Common donor sites include the abdomen, thighs, or buttocks. The fat is collected in a sterile manner to preserve its viability.
• Purification – The harvested fat is carefully processed to remove impurities and excess fluids, leaving behind only healthy fat cells.
• Injection – The purified fat is then strategically transferred by injection into the target area which requires volume enhancement or rejuvenation. This may include the breasts, face, hands, or other body areas.
