How Does FaceTite® Work?
FaceTite utilizes a special handheld device that consists of a long thin tube known as a cannula and an electrode that runs parallel to the cannula and emits the radiofrequency energy. Instead of using large incisions to tighten loose skin, small punctures are made. Once healed, these punctures are undetectable.
During the procedure, the cannula will be inserted into the areas of the face where the skin needs to be tightened and toned. As the cannula is slowly manipulated, the electrode on it emits radiofrequency energy that is delivered directly to the tissues. Multiple passes and adjustments are made to ensure even and complete coverage of the targeted areas.
The radiofrequency energy works to provide two key benefits:
- Internal fat lipolysis – The radiofrequency energy melts away small amounts of excess fat underneath the skin to give the surface a smoother, tighter, and more toned appearance.
